Personal Profile
Helen Hines is a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh’s Reid School of Music, where she combines decades of experience in music teaching with a strong background in technology. Her doctoral project explores how digital tools and technologies are influencing teaching and learning in one-to-one instrumental and vocal lessons across the UK.
Helen was recently interviewed by Music Mark about her research and has received competitive grants from the Royal Musical Association and the Edinburgh College of Arts to aid the completion of her work.
